In the Mondi statement of 13th Sept. El Sharkawi states that he would need to do extra research but without a no win, no pay agreement in place! But further on he states that he is willing to half his Euro 7,000 fee with a no win, no pay agreement! Which is it? Also he states that he needs to study why Wallaa El-Elfy cannot be sued in a civil case - surely as a member of the Egyptian bar association he would know the criteria for a civil suit and not need to study it!! He also says that he would need to study the period of limitation in such cases, again, as a lawyer, this is something he would already have knowledge of, working as a lawyer in the Egyptian courts. This is all very suspicious and raises more questions than answers.
